Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 3 June 2025
Dubble ("Dubble", "we", "our") provides a creator marketplace and tooling for short‑form video content (the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use and share it.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information – your name, email address, optional profile details, and hashed password.
- Campaign & submission data – campaigns you view or join, clip URLs you submit, captions, thumbnails, categories, and related metadata.
- Connected social‑account data – limited information from YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok that you authorize us to access (for example, public profile identifiers and clip metadata) so we can validate links and fetch metadata.
- Payout & payment‑related data – your PayPal email/account identifier and payout transaction details. We do not store full payment instrument details; those are handled by PayPal.
- Usage & device data – log files, IP address, browser type, device identifiers, interaction timestamps, and similar diagnostic data.
2. How We Use Information
- Provide & operate the Services – operate campaigns and submissions, fetch clip metadata, enable payouts, and keep the Services running.
- Improve & develop features – analyze aggregated usage trends to fix bugs and build new tools.
- Communicate with you – respond to support requests, send product updates, and relay administrative messages.
- Ensure security & prevent misuse – detect spam, abuse, fraud, or other harmful activity.
- Legal compliance – satisfy tax, accounting, and other legal obligations.
3. Third‑Party Platforms & Providers
- If you connect social accounts, we access only the scopes you grant to validate content and retrieve limited metadata. You can disconnect at any time.
- Payouts may be facilitated by PayPal. Your use of PayPal is governed by PayPal’s terms and privacy practices.
- We may use hosting, analytics, email, and other service providers that process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
4. Discord Data
Dubble operates a Discord bot and lets you sign in or connect your account with Discord. Where you use these features, we collect and use the following Discord data:
- Discord account information – your Discord user ID, username, avatar, and, if you authorize it, the email associated with your Discord account, so we can create or link your Dubble account and identify you across the Services.
- Server membership & roles – the servers you share with our bot, your membership status, and your roles in them. We use this to grant or restrict access to channels, assign and update roles (for example, verified or campaign‑specific roles), and keep your access in sync as your status changes.
- Message content – content of messages the bot can access in channels where it operates. We use this only to run bot features such as verification, clip submission, commands, and moderation. We do not use Discord message content for advertising.
- Presence & activity – where enabled, limited presence information (such as online status) used only to operate bot features.
We request only the Discord permissions and gateway intents needed to provide these features, and we do not sell Discord data. You can disconnect Discord at any time (see "Your Choices"), and you can remove the bot from a server at any time from within Discord.
5. When We Share Information
We share information only:
- With trusted service providers that help us run the Services (cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics, payments/payouts). They must keep it confidential and use it only for us.
- With campaign owners/brands when you submit to a campaign, so they can review your submission and run the campaign.
- For legal or safety reasons – if we are required to by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of anyone.
- As part of a business transfer – if Dubble is acquired or merges with another company. We’ll notify you if that happens.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Storage & Retention
Your data is stored on Amazon Web Services servers in the United States. We keep your information while you have an active account. If you delete your account, we erase or anonymize associated data within 90 days, except data we must keep longer for legal reasons (e.g., payout and billing records).
7. Security
We protect your information with industry‑standard safeguards, including:
- Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
- Password hashing.
- Role‑based access controls and logging.
No internet transmission or storage system is guaranteed 100% secure.
8. Your Choices
